High intensity interval training (HIIT) has many benefits like: improved cardiovascular health, increased calorie burn, enhanced fitness levels, muscle growth and strength, improved metabolic health, increased fat oxidation, and time efficiency. HOWEVER, excessive high intensity workouts can increase our cortisol levels. Excessive elevation of cortisol levels due to repeated high-intensity workouts, inadequate recovery, or chronic stress can have negative effects on health. At Poised Fitness, our functional strength days include high intensity interval training so our clients can reap the benefits HIIT has to offer, however we will never have back to back HIIT days on our schedule.

Heart Rate Monitor if you have one, no worries if not. (Apple watch/Fitbit is perfect).
If you have your own mat you’d like to bring for M, W & F classes, please do so. We will have mats available if you do not have your own.

Yes! However, if you have a chronic condition or injury, please let your trainer know ahead of time so we can best serve you.

The program will expand as qualified instructors are onboarded & the demand of the community. Please email info@poisedfitness.com to request a class time or if you are interested in teaching.

Your billing date is dependent on your join date. You will be billed monthly. This is a month-to-month membership.

If ever you need to cancel your membership, please notify us 30 days before your next billing cycle.

There is an option to freeze your membership for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 90 days up to 4 times a year. There will be a $10 charge per freeze.
